The charity calendar from PrettyBald is themed around a girls' country weekend. Each photo features a country house, fast car, croquet, tea party - or even wellies - and of course beautiful bald models baring all. The light-hearted pictures also feature wigs in places one wouldn't normally find them. Scroll down for video. The front cover of PrettyBald's charity calendar features alopecia sufferers. The fundraising calendar wants to prove that people who have no hair, as a result of cancer, thinning hair, scarring or alopecia, are beautiful. There are two main types - areata, which is sudden, and androgenetica, which is the normal hair loss that men suffer and is sometimes known as male pattern baldness. Alopecia areata is divided into three types, depending on how much hair is lost. And It is estimated that , people suffer from it in the UK. Alopecia areata is patches of baldness that may come and go. It can occur at any age, but mostly affects teenagers and young adults. Six out of 10 people affected develop their first bald patch before they are 20 years old.
